A Golden Age hero remembered

One of Australia’s Golden Age cricketing heroes Reggie Duff has been remembered in the latest ‘Nostalgia Series’ biography from my publishing arm cricketbooks.com.au

Reggie, five years of Fame, the story of Reginald Duff is a 160 page hardback by Ric Sissons.

Publishing this month, just 200 have been printed of which 100 have been signed by Australian opening batman Ed Cowan and the author.

At the turn of the Century, Reggie Duff and Victor Trumper formed Australia’s first great opening combination.

Reggie scored centuries in his first and last Test before eyesight problems triggered his premature dismissal from the team. He was to die young, at just 33.

Ric Sissons is an awardwinning author and researcher whose recent books include The Terror, Charlie Turner, Australia’s greatest bowler (also from cricketbooks.com.au).

Just a few of the numbered and signed Subscriber’s Editions remain. They cost $75 plus postage, direct from me at kenpiesse@ozemail.com.au or order via this website: cricketbooks.com.au
