1932-33 SA Cricket Souvenir, the Australian Cricketer magazine

$350.00

Rare Bodyline season program

Description

Another of four state-by-state supplements produced  by the  makers of the Australian Cricketer magazine in 1932-33, this one features South Australia: careers, averages, photos and statistics. The original cost was 3d. Each of the supplements are 16 pages. This one includes Shield figures, England’s Bodyline Touring Team and other statistics. The editor was H Drysdale Bett.

The who’s who career material is excellent and includes 200-300 words on most players, including Don Bradman. There is also a centrespread scoresheet which is clean. There are a couple of very minor cover marks. I rate it condition wise a strong 7 to 7.5 out of 10. These programs are among the rarest of all Bodyline season memorabilia.
