Description
Sub titled: Their methods at a glance, by George William Beldam and Charles Burgess Fry. Macmillan 1907 (re-issue), 548 pages, 464 action photographs. 1 illustration in colour (of FR Spofforth). Green cloth, with a bowler in delivery stride in gilt on the cover. Gilt uppers. Padwick 721/753-1. Beldam was the first real action photographer of cricket. Previous photographs were posed and give no real idea of the way cricketers really played. This book shows the true bowling actions of many of the famous players of the golden age, and also has a short section on fielding. A wonderful book. In good condition. Rating 7 out of 10.
