Potter, Jack – Born Lucky (autobiography, due January)

Due in January, hardback 250-plus pages

I am this month set to release Jack Potter’s autobiography Born Lucky,  the story of Jack Potter, Australia’s finest 12th man. It is available exclusively from me.
It is again a magnificent full length biography, a hardback, and with a signing page (see scan) signed by Jack and Sarah Potter, the co-authors. Twelfth man three times for Australia without playing a Test, Jack Potter’s legacy will live forever in spearheading a vibrant set of innovative coaching structures pivotal in the advancement of many emerging champions including Shane Warne, Justin Langer and Damien Martyn at the Australian Cricket Academy.
A dashing batsman, magnificent field and brilliant leader, Potter remains among the finest cricketers not to play a Test. ‘He retired from cricket far too young,’ says the legendary Bill Lawry in his foreword. ‘Jack was a flowing strokemaker and a superlative fielder… he had balance, anticipation and could throw and catch even the hardest hit balls with stunning nonchalance.’ Forty of the first 50 are available to the public and are housed in quality blue cloth slips cases.
The prices are as follows: * Numbers 6-50 cost $75 plus $10 post pre-paid please
* Numbers 51-221 cost $60 plus $10 post.
* Standard unsigned copies are $60 posted.
I am expecting it soon. For the collectors who like low-number signed limited editions, please do act now and tell me which number you may like and I’ll do my best to accommodate your wishes. Pre-payment is appreciated please.
