Description
Presenting another in the much celebrated Uk-based Orient Line Steam Navigation Company and its series of cricket tour booklets produced for the cruises to and from Australia between the wars. This one is for the 1936-37 ‘Goodwill’ tour and is in very good condition. I rate it a strong 8 out of 10. There are details and pictures of the players from captain Gubby Allen on and all the fixtures including several in New Zealand. There is also a quaint advertisement for ‘Tasmania There and Back… throughout the tourist season’ where Orient Liners would stop at either Burnie or Hobart. They called them the “Apple Trips’.
